Responsibilities

The Outside Print Hardware Account Executive is responsible for driving HP Commercial Print Hardware growth through authorized distribution and reseller partners within an assigned territory. This role acts as the primary field interface between HP and partners, owning sell-through execution, pipeline development, partner enablement, and program compliance across print hardware.

The Account Executive is accountable for translating HP’s print strategy into measurable field results, strengthening partner capability, and expanding HP’s share in both transactional and contractual print environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HP field contact for assigned print hardware partners (resellers, dealers, and distribution-aligned sellers)
  • Own territory-level execution of HP’s Commercial Print Hardware strategy
  • Build and maintain strong executive and sales relationships within partner organizations
  • Influence partner focus, coverage, and mindshare for HP print hardware portfolios
  • Drive hardware sell-through attainment against quarterly and annual targets
  • Build and manage a qualified print hardware pipeline across transactional and managed print opportunities
  • Support deal acceleration, pricing motions, and competitive displacement strategies
  • Execute HP print programs including:
    • Promotions and rebates
    • SPIFs and incentives
    • MDF/DGF-funded initiatives
  • Ensure program compliance, accurate reporting, and proper partner execution
  • Enable partner sales teams on:
    • HP print hardware portfolio positioning
    • Security, sustainability, and innovation differentiators
    • Competitive positioning vs. key OEM competitors
  • Work closely with Supplies sales reps to align hardware placement with long-term supplies attach
  • Provide field feedback to HP leadership on market trends, partner needs, and competitive dynamics

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in channel sales, preferably in print hardware, imaging, or IT infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Indirect go-to-market models
    • Distributor and reseller ecosystems
    • Commercial print (A4/A3) motions
  • Proven ability to manage complex partner relationships and drive field execution
  • Experience influencing without authority in a matrixed organization

Posted Salary Range

USD $72,500.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
