Responsibilities

The Inside Indirect Print Hardware Sales rep is responsible for driving HP Commercial Print Hardware growth through a defined set of authorized distribution and reseller partners, primarily via remote engagement. This role focuses on deal velocity, pipeline development, partner enablement, and disciplined execution across transactional and emerging contractual print opportunities.

The Inside Sales rep acts as a multiplier for field and channel strategy, ensuring partners are enabled, programs are executed correctly, and opportunities are moved efficiently from pipeline to close.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HP contact for assigned partners under an inside/remote coverage model
  • Manage high‑volume reseller and distributor‑aligned partners focused on entry‑level print hardware
  • Maintain frequent, structured engagement with partner sales teams to drive focus on HP print opportunities
  • Support territory alignment with outside Account Executives and Print Hardware Specialists as needed
  • Own pipeline creation, qualification, and progression for assigned partners
  • Drive deal velocity through:
    • Opportunity shaping
    • Pricing and promo alignment
    • Competitive guidance
  • Ensure opportunities are properly forecasted and progressed in alignment with HP sales cadence
  • Execute HP Print Hardware programs including:
    • Promotions and rebates
    • SPIFs and sales incentives
    • MDF/DGF‑supported activities (where applicable)
  • Ensure partners understand program requirements, timelines, and compliance expectations
  • Support accurate reporting and clean execution of HP initiatives
  • Deliver virtual trainings, refreshers, and targeted enablement based on partner needs
  • Work closely with:
    • Outside Print Hardware Account Executives
    • Supplies sales reps to align hardware placement with future supplies attach
    • Inside Sales, and category teams

Escalate complex opportunities to appropriate specialists ( MPS, Security, Services)

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, channel sales, or partner management
  • Experience supporting indirect go‑to‑market models
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Commercial print hardware (A4 preferred)
    • Partner and distributor ecosystems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple partners and opportunities simultaneously
