About the Role

As an Account Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of customer accounts, serving as a primary point of contact. You'll partner directly with buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers to increase sales, execute promotional programs, and identify opportunities that drive growth.
In this role, you'll combine consultative selling, account management, and relationship-building to deliver exceptional customer experiences and measurable outcomes. You'll also stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and market insights to help customers maximize performance and achieve business goals.
What You’ll Get to Do
Build and maintain relationships with buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers across your assigned accounts
Execute sales calls and presentations to support business plans, promotions, and client initiatives
Partner with customers to grow sales, improve distribution, increase shelf presence, and support promotional activity
Analyze account performance and market trends to identify opportunities and drive business results
Represent client brands during category reviews and business planning discussions
Maintain account reporting, promotional plans, pricing updates, and other business-critical documentation
Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned brands, products, and processes
What You Need
Required
2+ years of experience in sales, retail, account management, marketing, finance, or a related field
Experience building relationships and working directly with customers or business partners
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Ability to analyze sales and business data to support account growth to identify opportunities and support account growth.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, internet research, and web-based applications
Comfortable using multiple systems and web-based tools, including Microsoft Office
Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload via wired connection)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 2–4 times per year)
Preferred Qualifications
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience
Experience working with buyers, category managers, or retail partners
Experience supporting promotional programs and sales initiative
